What is Integrative health coaching?
Integrative health coaching is not just about your physical well-being. It is about you as a whole person: your values, goals, work, balance, fulfillment, and life purpose. Through the coaching process, clients typically reach various goals, improve their performance, and enhance their quality of life. We use reporting, exploring, and a consistent commitment to action to moving forward.
Colleen recognizes that the CLIENT is the ultimate owner of his/her life and health. Being in the driver's seat requires a good map. This means knowing what your health is like now and where you want your health to be going forward. She loves working with people who are ready to improve habits and make positive change.

I’m proud of my family, faith and my passion for coaching. I love raising our kids with Joe (ages 20, 18, and 16) and encouraging them to develop into independent adults.
I see a connection with my early career as a corporate project manager and my current role as a health coach. I started my career at Forbes Magazine and continued it at Charles Schwab. As a project manager, I had to determine the explicit purpose of a project and develop a strong foundation for its success. I followed the progress of each project and ensured that it was completed successfully and on time. I helped everyone stay focused regardless of numerous work distractions.
My childhood dream was to start a health and wellness spa. Not an indulgent/pampering type spa. No, my goal was a beautiful wellness spa where someone went away to recharge, reset, and renew their body and mind. In high school, I applied to almost every day spa and resort in the tri-state area for an internship, and Georgette Klinger in New York City hired me. It was not precisely the place of my dreams, but it was so fun to see the “spa” world behind the scenes.
I feel purposeful when clients realize what they are capable of achieving. They hold the roadmap for their future self. My role as a coach becomes SO MUCH fun at that point! There is hope and excitement as we set the wheels in motion for change. I love helping clients visualize a better self and achieve their goals.
I’m known for being encouraging and deeply practical.
It took me by surprise when I started using meditation in my coaching practice. I always thought only movement and nutrition were the essential base for health. My studies at Duke made me reassess what “healthy” means. My most successful clients always incorporate mindfulness practices. One’s mindset is so crucial for sustainable change.
I’m inspired by so many amazing doctors, including Dr. Esselstyn, Dr. Kahn, Dr. Fuhrman, Dr. Ornish, Dr. Davis, and Dr. Arnold. I am also inspired by my clients who take chances and go for living their best life. Healthy living can be joyful and sustainable.
I am here to provide vision, focus, inspiration, clarity, and guidance. I help clients as they set goals and create practical next steps.
